when you want to type on the computer you use a keyboard that has buttons. data is entered into the computer. then there is a box shaped item that is needed for the computer. data is processed to obtain the results. the printer is really not needed for the computer unless you need to print something that you want or maybe even need. results are output. the printer is an output device that means that it doesn't have to put it in the computer or connect it to the computer.

a motherboard is a board used for putting wires or electricity circuits. you use it for turning on the computer.i wouldn't touch it unless an adult that you know tells you to touch it. a motherboard could be dangerous for anybody. input devices are objects needed for the computer like for example,the cpu is needed the mouse and the key board is needed for it,too.a cpu will help you program the computer and it will help you to turn the computer on. a cpu lets you put you're CD or even DVD's. Output devices are objects not needed for the computer. an output device could be like an Mp3 or ipod. all the definitions are easy to learn unless you study them.
